About The Position
Clinical Nursing Supervisor (RN) - Surgical Services, Full-time Days, 40 hours per week, Eligible for Sign-on bonus Aiken Regional Medical Centers, located in Aiken, South Carolina, is a 273-bed acute care facility providing top quality and safe healthcare to the residents of Aiken and surrounding communities since 1917. Visit us online at: https://www.aikenregional.com The Clinical Nursing Supervisor assumes shift responsibility and accountability for the planning and provision of direct and indirect nursing care to the patient, family, care partner and appropriate others. Coordinates multi-disciplinary team members, directs and facilitates nursing staff in obtaining safe, optimal health care outcomes. Supports activities that meet the facility vision, mission and goals. Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program. BSN preferred.
- Minimum of one-year full-time or three-years part-time experience in acute care specialty nursing. One to three years supervisory experience preferred.
- Current South Carolina or qualifying compact state nursing license.
- BLS (required upon hire).
- ACLS (5M, ED, PCU/ICU, Surgical Services, L&D), PALS (ED, Surgical Services), NRP (NSY, WLC, L&D) and FHM (L&D) upon hire within required specialties.
- CPI training within 90 days of hire.
- Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred.
- One to three years supervisory experience preferred.
