About The Position
The Clinical Supervisor Nursing - Med Surg Tele (MST III) position is located at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA. The Nursing Supervisor assists the Department Director in providing overall leadership and direction for the units or areas of responsibility, fostering collaboration to achieve operational and clinical excellence. This involves working collaboratively with physicians to improve quality of care and with department leadership to meet quality, fiscal, and patient experience goals. Corona Regional Medical Center, established in 1965 as Corona Community Hospital, is a 238-bed community hospital network, certified by The Joint Commission, employing over 1,250 healthcare workers and a medical staff of approximately 347 physicians. The hospital is part of Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS), one of the nation’s largest providers of hospital and healthcare services, recognized by Fortune and Forbes, operating acute care hospitals, behavioral health facilities, and other services across the U.S. and U.K.
Requirements
- Two years of recent department specific experience
- Two years of experience working as a RN; OR with the approval of the CNO, one year of experience working as a RN plus one year experience working in a supervisory/manager position in a healthcare organization
- Basic EKG/tele interpretation experience OR completing a Basic EKG class within six months of employment
- Registered Nurse with current California RN license
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
