About The Position

Clinical Supervisor – Mental Health Services at JASA. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will provide critical clinical oversight and guidance to clinicians, interns, and volunteers delivering behavioral health services to a diverse population of older adults in the Bronx. Operating under JASA’s New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH) licensed outpatient program, you will balance clinical leadership, quality improvement initiatives, regulatory reporting, and direct client care.

Requirements

NYS Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Clinical Psychologist required; LCSW strongly preferred.
Minimum of 3 years working in a mental health setting or with an older adult population.
At least 1 year of clinical supervisory experience is preferred.
Computer literacy required, including experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, Microsoft Excel, and Google Workspace.
Exceptional interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills with proven success in a collaborative team setting.
Professional maturity and a deep appreciation for the roles of race, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and individual values in client care.

Responsibilities

Provide regular individual and group clinical supervision to clinicians, interns, and volunteers delivering behavioral health interventions.
Assist the Senior Program Director in managing day-to-day operations, leading staff meetings, and guiding program planning.
Prepare reports, documentation, and communications for regulatory bodies and funders (NYS OMH, NYC DoHMH, NYC Aging, Medicare, Medicaid).
Lead ongoing quality assurance (QA) and quality improvement (QI) initiatives in coordination with agency quality assurance staff.
Provide field instruction and supervision to undergraduate and graduate social work students.
Maintain cooperative relationships with public/voluntary agencies and represent JASA at community events and interdisciplinary conferences.
Deliver evidence-based mental health interventions (individual, family, group) in person, virtually, or through home visits when medically necessary.
Utilize outreach strategies at older adult centers to engage participants and provide case consultations/psychoeducation to site staff.
Participate in extended hours coverage via company phone on evenings, weekends, or holidays to respond to client crises.
Complete comprehensive treatment plans, progress notes, and statistical reports within mandated timeframes using Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Google/Microsoft platforms.
