About The Position

This role involves leading and supporting a multidisciplinary, fast-paced mobile crisis team focused on providing 24/7 crisis support for children and families experiencing emotional, behavioral, or situational distress. The position blends hands-on clinical leadership with administrative oversight, including real-time crisis consultation, staff coaching and development, and program operations management. The Clinical Supervisor will also participate in a broader leadership structure, receiving support from senior program leadership while helping guide team culture, performance expectations, and service delivery standards.

Requirements

  • Master’s or higher in mental health related field required.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience as a clinician.
  • Clinical supervisory experience required.
  • LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist required.

Responsibilities

  • Provides case consultation, direction and leadership within the team.
  • Ensures clients receive services that are focused on presenting problems and clients’ request for treatment.
  • Directs crisis intervention efforts and intervenes as required.
  • Monitors client meetings, admission, continued stay and discharge criteria.
  • Reviews caseloads regularly to ensure appropriate utilization of services.
  • Oversees hiring, training, and performance management of staff within the program.
  • Facilitates team meetings.
  • Participates in internal and external meetings as needed by program and agency, including delivering marketing, training and case consultation services.
  • Ensures client, program and agency documentation and reports are completed in a timely manner and according to program, agency, funder and accreditation/licensing standards.
  • Oversees the completion of chart audits and ensures that all necessary documentation is accurate and up to date.
  • Acts as primary point person for program and provides back up or on call coverage as needed by program and agency.
  • Ensures proper maintenance of vehicles/if applicable.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Provides clinical direction and leadership to the team, fostering a collaborative and effective working environment in collaboration with their supervisor.
  • Ensures the completion of insurance authorizations for services rendered, as required.
  • Actively participates in committees focused on service delivery and quality improvement within the agency.
