About The Position

As Clinical Supervisor, you will lead and support a multidisciplinary, fast-paced mobile crisis team, consisting of Supervisory Crisis Intake/Triage managing incoming calls and coordinating responses, and Master’s-level Clinicians providing mobile assessments and interventions with follow-up and linkage to services. You will collaborate closely with external partners including schools, hospitals, DCF, law enforcement, and community providers, as well as internal quality, training, and compliance teams. This role blends hands-on clinical leadership with administrative oversight, offering a balance of real-time crisis consultation, staff coaching and development, and program operations management. You’ll also participate in a broader leadership structure, receiving support from senior program leadership while helping guide team culture, performance expectations, and service delivery standards.

Requirements

  • Master’s or higher in mental health related field required.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience as a clinician.
  • Clinical supervisory experience required.
  • LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist required.

  • Experience in related program service preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provides case consultation, direction and leadership within the team.
  • Ensures clients receive services that are focused on presenting problems and clients’ request for treatment.
  • Directs crisis intervention efforts and intervenes as required.
  • Monitors client meetings, admission, continued stay and discharge criteria.
  • Reviews caseloads regularly to ensure appropriate utilization of services.
  • Oversees hiring, training, and performance management of staff within the program.
  • Facilitates team meetings.
  • Participates in internal and external meetings as needed by program and agency, including delivering marketing, training and case consultation services.
  • Ensures client, program and agency documentation and reports are completed in a timely manner and according to program, agency, funder and accreditation/licensing standards.
  • Oversees the completion of chart audits and ensures that all necessary documentation is accurate and up to date.
  • Acts as primary point person for program and provides back up or on call coverage as needed by program and agency.
  • Ensures proper maintenance of vehicles/if applicable.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Provides clinical direction and leadership to the team, fostering a collaborative and effective working environment in collaboration with their supervisor.
  • Ensures the completion of insurance authorizations for services rendered, as required.
  • Actively participates in committees focused on service delivery and quality improvement within the agency.
