About The Position

The Clinical Strategy and Practice Fellow (VSP/PT) builds strategies for development, engagement, best clinical practices and processes for clinical community within the enterprise. The Clinical Strategy and Practice Fellow (VSP/PT) contributes through a combination of (a) key technical expertise and (b) technical/process leadership that regularly provides functional guidance to professional associates. Regularly applies advanced in-depth and broad knowledge and considered top “go to” resource in their field. The Clinical Strategy and Practice Fellow (VSP/PT) designs, implements, and supports strategy and drives targeted initiatives aimed at increasing enterprise clinician capacity, enhancing clinician recruitment, development, and retention, and supporting clinician licensure compliance and continuing education. Uses data-based insight to direct process improvement efforts within the clinical community. Develops and drives overall enterprise strategy and provides recommendations to senior executives. Makes decisions on complex to highly complex issues that have significant impact on the enterprise’s financial and business operations, and as an expert in the field, uses professional concepts in developing resolution to critical enterprise-wide issues and broad design matters.

Requirements

  • Self-provided internet service must meet at minimum a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps.
  • Wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested.
  • Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.
  • Occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Responsibilities
