As a full time, exempt Clinical Care Services Pharmacist with CPS TELEpharmacy, you will join a team of highly skilled pharmacists working together in a fast-paced environment from our centralized state-of-the art facility located in Naperville, IL. Our office is in the greater Chicagoland area and conveniently located off I-88 with easy access to Chicago and the western Suburbs . In this role, you will communicate via phone with patients and providers throughout the country while completing admission medication reconciliation, discharge medication reconciliation, counseling, medication therapy management, and remote order entry and verification. CPS TELEpharmacy is a division of CPS Solutions, LLC, that provides remote pharmacy services to multiple hospitals and skilled nursing facilities across the U.S from a centralized location in Naperville, IL. This position entails a high degree of telephone customer service, and accuracy working on multiple screens from a high-security, modern office building with many amenities including a relaxation area, complimentary beverages and membership to a local fitness center.

Requirements

  • Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy; PharmD preferred
  • Current Illinois Pharmacist license in good standing
  • Willingness and ability to obtain additional state licenses as requested by management
  • Experience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems
  • Demonstrated accuracy and timeliness in a work setting
  • Demonstrated effective communications skills; verbal and written
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns
  • Demonstrated ability to use pharmaceutical and medical references literature to provide drug information to health plans, patients, and prescribers
  • Demonstrated ability to speak professionally via phone or video with providers and patients
  • Demonstrated ability to precept students independently

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an integral member of our patient care team
  • Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and healthcare providers via phone and live feed camera
  • Communicate via phone with patients and providers throughout the country while completing admission medication reconciliation, discharge medication reconciliation, counseling, medication therapy management, and remote order entry and verification.
