Requirements

• Pharmacist credentialed from the Wisconsin Pharmacy Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate medication management (selection, dosing, administration, and dispensing).
• Review medication orders to proactively prevent and resolve drug-related issues.
• Recommend clinically appropriate, cost-effective, formulary alternatives.
• Prepare and compound medications for precise, timely patient delivery.
• Serve as the primary drug information source and educate staff and patients.
• Communicate with physicians and clinicians to ensure seamless patient care.
• Manage remote dispensing sites.
• Supervise technical staff in medication and supply preparation, inventory, and dispensing.
• Contribute to academic programs, potentially precepting pharmacy students.
• Provide required patient counseling.
• Float to various areas to maintain comprehensive pharmacy coverage.
