About The Position
Provide subject matter expertise in specialized clinical areas—such as oncology, nuclear medicine, and cardiology—to guide clinical leadership and pharmacy teams. Evaluate medication orders to identify and resolve potential drug-related issues, ensuring safe and effective therapy for every patient. Compound and dispense complex medications with precision to ensure accurate and timely treatment delivery. Collaborate with physicians and provide clinical education to patients and staff to promote informed decision-making and optimal outcomes. Lead pharmacy technicians and mentor pharmacy students, fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment that supports operational excellence.
Requirements
- Pharmacist credentialed from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy required.
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.
- Successful completion of a PGY1 residency
- Successful completion of a PGY2 residency in Critical Care
- Licensed or eligible for pharmacist licensure in Texas
