This is a field-based role requiring the professional to reside within the territory and drive to multiple accounts throughout the region. A valid driver's license is essential. The role involves travel outside the territory for broader engagement. Medtronic's Pelvic Health Operating Unit advances care for patients with bladder and bowel control conditions through targeted, minimally invasive neuromodulation therapies. The Clinical Specialist supports the Pelvic Health groups in surgical coverage, follow-up, support, troubleshooting, customer service, and education within a territory. Basic market development activities may also be involved. The role requires maintaining current knowledge of assigned products, services, and competitive products. The specialist will educate and train physicians, hospital personnel, and office staff on technical matters related to products and therapies through various methods like one-on-one sessions, in-service programs, seminars, and symposiums. They will also assist in training new employees in the district and provide sales support, including completing necessary documentation and executing invoices. Effective communication with district personnel, customers, and other Medtronic employees is crucial. The role also contributes to regional and/or national projects and requires adherence to quality policy/system compliance.
