About The Position

We are currently recruiting for a Clinical Social Worker at Central Regional Hospital (CRH) for a Repeat Admissions Coordinator/Float. The Repeat Admissions Coordination aspect of the position provides evaluation and consultation to hospital and community treatment teams on patients who meet the criteria for repeat admissions. This position also provides coverage for other Clinical Social Worker positions at CRH.

Requirements

Master’s degree from an appropriately accredited school of social work.
Licensure required from NC SW Certification and Licensure Board.
Must fulfill all requirements for Licensure in North Carolina as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker as required by the North Carolina Social Work Certification and Licensure Board.
Licensure must be obtained prior to beginning employment.

Nice To Haves

Thorough knowledge of social work principles, techniques and practices, and their application to complex problems associated with inpatient psychiatric treatment.
Considerable knowledge of a wide range of behavioral and psychosocial problems and their treatment.
Knowledge of individual, family and group dynamics.
Considerable knowledge of the laws, regulations, and policies associated with inpatient psychiatric treatment.
Skill in establishing rapport with clients and in applying techniques of assessing psychosocial, behavioral, and psychological aspects of client’s problems.

Responsibilities
