About The Position

The Clinical Services Supervisor provides clinical and administrative supervision and clinical consultation to direct services staff of the assigned Outpatient Therapy and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) Behavioral Health programs. Ensures delivery of evidence-based, trauma-informed care for individuals with mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders, in alignment with state regulations and agency standards. This position also provides direct therapeutic services as needed. This position will work at both the Santa Fe Family Health Center in Santa Fe, New Mexico and Valley Community Health Center in Espanola, New Mexico.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Psychology or closely related field.
  • Three years post-graduate experience in behavioral health.
  • At least two years working in a substance use disorder or co-occurring IOP program.
  • Experience with adults with serious mental illness, child and family therapy, and community agency mental health and substance use services.
  • One-year supervisory experience required.
  • Knowledge of psychotropic medications is required.
  • Must be independently licensed as a Mental Health professional in the State of New Mexico, e.g., LPCC, LISW, LCSW, LMFT or LPAT.
  • Must obtain licensure by date of hire and maintain current throughout employment.
  • Requires a current supervisor designation in compliance with NMAC 16.27.19.10, approved by the New Mexico Counseling and Therapy Practice Board.
  • The designation must be maintained throughout employment, including all renewal and continuing education requirements set by the board.
  • Have or be able to obtain First Aid and BLS/CPR certifications within 30 days of hire.
  • Have or be able to obtain Narcan certification within six months of hire.
  • Successful completion of an initial post-offer of employment criminal records check.
  • Must comply with required testing and immunizations (TB, Hepatitis B, Tdap, MMR, Varicella, Influenza).

Nice To Haves

  • Formal training in the Matrix Model.
  • Candidates with a strong foundation in group facilitation and evidence-based SUD care will be considered with the expectation of completing training after hire.
  • Experience in a Federally Qualified Health Center, Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic, or community-based integrated care setting.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English/Navajo or other relevant languages).
