About The Position

The U.S. da Vinci® Clinical Sales Manager builds and develops the clinical field sales team within an assigned region and manages utilization of the da Vinci Surgical System across the installed base. The role oversees installations, training, and utilization growth, and hires, trains, and develops U.S. Account Managers. Candidates must live within or be willing to relocate to the Cincinnati area. The position involves moderate to extensive travel.

Requirements

Proven track record in da Vinci® Surgery sales or at least 5 years of clinical sales management experience.
In-depth knowledge of the operating room environment.
Knowledge of the capital equipment sales process.
Previous experience managing and directing a sales team in the medical device industry.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Computer literate.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Attend the ISI field sales management training course, covering interviewing skills, remote field management, implementation of the sales process, and platform and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement da Vinci® Surgery sales activities to achieve and exceed goals set by senior management.
Expand da Vinci® Surgery usage in existing accounts.
Expand usage by selling and training new surgeons in specialties applicable to the da Vinci® Surgical System.
Manage training and education within the installed base.
Guide new system installation processes.
Prospect for new system installations and upgrades to existing systems.
Provide the clinical sales team with information on new products and updates to existing products.
Work with training and marketing departments to implement strategies and programs as directed by senior management.
Hire, train, and develop U.S. Account Managers.
