About The Position

The clinical safety project coordinator assists in the data management and support activities for staff and patient safety. The project coordinator is responsible for the scheduling and data collection of the daily safety brief. Collaborates with employee health to compile staff safety data for reporting to hospital committees and the national learning network – Solutions for Patient Safety (SPS). The project coordinator is involved in maintaining a variety of electronic storage and filing systems, such as Excel, EPIC, Sharepoint, as well as creating new spreadsheets and graphs. The project coordinator shall assist is the preparation and distribution of meeting agendas, taking and transcribing meeting minutes, and coordination of meeting activities as needed by team members. The project coordinator provides administrative support for activities relating to staff and patient safety.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years of experience as an office coordinator, administrative assistant, project coordinator, or related field.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting coordinating multiple schedules.
