Mercer University is searching for a Clinical Rotation Supervisor at our clinical campus in Carrollton, GA. This position primarily coordinates the clinical education program for third and fourth-year medical students. Responsibilities include coordinating student schedules, scheduling and proctoring NBME exams, collecting and distributing student grades, providing orientation and hospital-specific training, making arrangements for visiting students, and serving as a point of contact for students and clinical preceptors with MUSM. The role also involves contributing to Clerkship Manuals and the Electives Catalog, serving as an ex-officio member of sub-committees, maintaining committee records, and acting as a liaison between MUSM, medical schools, hospitals, and physician offices. Additionally, the supervisor will oversee the student lounge and facilities, work with program directors on curriculum and support, assist with learning management system content and grade reporting, and serve as the Chief Proctor for internal and NBME exams, training and overseeing other proctors. The position requires managing relationships with administrators, faculty, and staff, handling credentialing, and serving as a point of contact for students and preceptors. Travel to the hospital and off-site clinics is essential. The role involves facilitating, resourcing, and acting as a contact person for students, faculty, and staff in the 3rd and 4th year programs, including student orientation and overseeing NBME exams and OSCEs. Strong working relationships with Academic Affairs and university committees are necessary, supporting clerkship staff and faculty across all campuses.
