About The Position

The Clinical Resource Leader on the Postpartum team at Valleywise Health supports mothers and newborns and helps families begin their next chapter with confidence, compassion, and exceptional care. Working alongside the Nurse Manager, this leader oversees daily clinical operations, supports and develops nursing staff, and promotes safe, high-quality, patient-centered care. The role serves as a trusted resource for the team, coordinates care to meet each patient’s needs, and fosters a welcoming, supportive environment for families from diverse backgrounds.

Requirements

• At least two years of clinical experience relevant to the patient populations and/or scope of practice.
• A current, valid Arizona RN license, temporary Arizona RN license, or valid compact RN licensure for the current state of practice, in good standing with the issuing Board of Nursing.
• A BLS card obtained through an American Heart Association training center upon hire.
• NRP upon hire or within three months of hire or transfer for new graduates or nurses new to the service.
• Ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work with culturally diverse people.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership ability is a plus.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Certification or continuing education may be required based on the area of practice.
