About The Position

Join Lovelace Women’s Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico, as a night-shift, PRN Post Partum Couplet Care Registered Nurse. The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for the practice of professional nursing, including patient care and staff management assigned to the RN. The RN may serve as Charge Nurse and is accountable for professional practice. The role requires adherence to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety. Lovelace Women’s Hospital has a 53-bed advanced neonatal intensive care unit, a family care unit, an award-winning breast care center, and the state’s first robotic surgery program recognized as a Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery by Surgical Review Corporation. Requirements

Associate’s Degree or Diploma of Nursing.
Valid New Mexico nursing license or New Mexico compact license within 90 days of hire.
BLS certification obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and before providing direct patient care.
The department may also require ACLS and/or PALS.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
Two years of experience in a specialty.
Two years of general nursing experience.
