As a member of our clinical team, you will work under the supervision of our physician principal investigators and clinical nurse manager on the conduct of pharmaceutical-sponsored clinical trials in accordance with FDA regulations and GCP guidelines. Typical tasks will include but not be limited to IV catheterization and drug infusion, injections, phlebotomy, medical record and lab results review, reconciling medications, and medical liaising. The ideal candidate will have recent bedside experience. Clinical research experience is a plus. In addition, clinical research nurses at Adams Clinical will also work closely with other members of the study team, providing mentoring, direction, and guidance to clinical research coordinators. This position will also involve general research-related responsibilities like facilitating the informed consent process, administration of screening procedures, data entry, maintenance of regulatory binders, and other nursing functions as required in support of the clinical trial.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse license in New York State required
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing required
  • Previous clinical research experience preferred, but not required
  • Willingness and ability to travel to both New York City office locations

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of experience as a nurse preferred
  • Clinical research experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • IV placement, initiation and management of IV infusions per sponsor provided protocol
  • Assist with difficult phlebotomy and IV placement for phlebotomy
  • Administration of subcutaneous or intramuscular injections
  • Medical record review
  • Assist with collection of AEs, concomitant medications, medical history
  • Timely reporting of Serious Adverse Events and follow up
  • Medical support on site for emergency situations
  • Willingness to commute to two locations in New York City area
  • Uphold GCP
