About The Position

Rocky Mountain MS Clinic (RMMSC) is seeking a Clinical Research Neurologist to join their growing outpatient neurology and clinical research program in Salt Lake City, Utah. This role is designed for a neurologist interested in combining outpatient neurology with meaningful participation in industry-sponsored clinical trials within a collaborative, physician-led environment. The position offers the opportunity to serve as a Principal Investigator (PI) while working alongside an established research infrastructure with dedicated coordinators, operational support, and active clinical studies already in place. The practice environment is physician-centered, supported by dedicated research coordinators, regulatory teams, administrative and scheduling support, established referral pathways, integrated infusion and ancillary services, and operational leadership focused on physician efficiency and sustainable growth. This role is ideal for neurologists seeking a sophisticated research environment without the need to independently build infrastructure, sponsor relationships, or operational workflows.

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree
  • Completion of accredited Neurology residency program
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
  • Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Utah
  • Prior experience as a Principal Investigator (PI) on industry-sponsored clinical trials

Responsibilities

  • Conduct clinical trials in accordance with study protocols, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards, and federal/state regulations
  • Evaluate and manage outpatient neurology patients participating in clinical research studies
  • Oversee study conduct, participant safety, and data integrity
  • Collaborate with sponsors, research coordinators, pharmaceutical partners, and regulatory personnel
  • Review study eligibility, protocol compliance, and adverse event reporting
  • Support patient recruitment and retention efforts for ongoing studies
  • Ensure accurate and timely research documentation and reporting
  • Participate in oversight of operational, regulatory, and compliance-related aspects of clinical research activities
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the clinical research program
