About The Position

The Clinical Research Coordinator B is responsible for oversight, execution, and regulatory compliance of human subject research carried out in the Movement Disorders Division of the Neurology Department. The Clinical Research Coordinator B will be working on a high enrolling, longitudinal observational study. They will be responsible for screening, enrolling and conducting study activities. The coordinator will assist in maintaining a research database in compliance with HIPAA regulations and perform data analyses. They will work within a team, along with other coordinators to ensure study meets recruitment goals. They will assist project manager as needed and carry out delegated tasks as required by study team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science and 2 to 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (required)
  • Must be able to exercise discretion with confidential information (required)
  • Highly organized and flexible (required)
  • Ability to work independently and on a team (required)
  • Previous research experience, 2-3 years (required)

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of PC applications (Microsoft Office, etc.) (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that studies are compliant with local and federal laws and regulations
  • Recruiting and screening potential study participants
  • Performing intake assessments
  • Creating and maintaining data, records, and other documents related to studies
  • Collecting specimens and inputting data and patient information into electronic systems
  • Acting as a point of reference for study participants by answering questions and keeping them informed on study matter
  • Training CRC A and/ or new team members
  • Managing/ monitoring and maintaining the inventory of equipment and supplies related to studies
  • Creating reports on studies, and notes on protocols, workload, data collection
  • Providing assistance on other research studies as needed
