The Laboratory for Cognition and Neural Stimulation (LCNS) is a cutting-edge neuromodulation lab using transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and transcranial electrical stimulation (tES) to advance the fields of cognitive neurology and cognitive neuroscience at the University of Pennsylvania, Perelman School of Medicine. https://www.med.upenn.edu/lcns/ Our mission is to study structure–function relationships in the brain that give rise to cognition and healthy brain function and to translate this knowledge into the development of novel therapies for patients with cognitive deficits due to stroke and neurodegenerative disease. The LCNS, under the direction of Principal Investigator Dr. H. Branch Coslett, is seeking a full‑time Clinical Research Coordinator. In this role, the coordinator will take primary responsibility for coordinating and managing study visits, including scheduling, preparing visit materials, ensuring protocol adherence, and documenting all procedures. The coordinator will also support intervention delivery by administering structured speech‑language therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed research Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP). Additional responsibilities include participant recruitment, detailed data entry, administration of noninvasive brain stimulation (TMS and tES), administration of test of language, and study follow‑up activities. The coordinator will also oversee human subjects payment processes, ensuring timely, accurate compensation in compliance with institutional procedures.
