About The Position

Kindred Hospital Las Vegas - Flamingo is seeking a Clinical Liaison for their Inpatient Acute Rehab unit. This role is a full-time position within Lifepoint Rehabilitation, a part of Lifepoint Health. The Clinical Liaison plays a vital role in building and maintaining referral relationships to drive appropriate admissions to the acute rehab unit. They will also assist and coordinate the intake and pre-admission screening process, perform on-site clinical judgment to determine patient appropriateness for admission, communicate rehabilitation and facility options to patients and families, secure information regarding patients' resources and benefits, and function as the initial contact for external case management and discharge planner personnel with payors and hospital facilities.

Requirements

• Clinical Licensure
• Bachelor's degree
• Previous clinical experience required, with demonstrated skills in clinical assessment and EMR systems
• Valid driver's license

Nice To Haves

• Previous marketing/sales experience preferred
• Formal Sales Training preferred

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains referral relationships to drive appropriate admissions to the acute rehab unit
• Assist and coordinate the intake and pre-admission screening process
• Perform on-site (typically in a referring facility) clinical judgment to determine the appropriateness of the patient for admission
• Communicates rehabilitation and facility options to patients and families.
• Communicates with patients, determines admission appropriateness, and assesses the patient's expectations and requirements for participation.
• Secures information relating to patients' resources and benefits
• Functions as initial contact for external case management and discharge planner personnel with payors and hospital facilities
