About The Position

The Clinical Rehab Liaison cultivates referral relationships, manages an assigned geographic territory, and completes patient assessments. The role supports business growth through patient referrals, with a primary focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with prospective patients, family members, physicians, ICU and floor nurses, discharge planners, case managers, and payer representatives. The position combines clinical expertise with community engagement and professional growth at Encompass Health, a national inpatient rehabilitation provider.

Requirements

• Current driver's license in the state of employment and an acceptable driving record according to company policy.
• Current state professional clinical licensure.
• CPR certification.
• Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare operations, legal frameworks, market trends, and competitive analysis.

Nice To Haves

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Two or more years of clinical or healthcare technology experience.
• One or more years of nurse liaison experience or successful healthcare sales experience.
• CRRN certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop business census based on strategic goals.
• Cultivate strong relationships within an assigned territory, prioritizing face-to-face connections.
• Aid in streamlining the referral-to-admission process.
• Educate the community, referral sources, and physicians on hospital programs and services.
• Use market analysis to identify new opportunities.
• Respond to and overcome admission barriers and follow up on admission variables.
• Conduct in-services and professional presentations about services and outcomes for various groups.
