Part-Time Clinical Registered Dietitian
About The Position
RD Nutrition Consultants, LLC is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Dietitian to provide nutrition consulting services in a retirement community and assisted living setting. The role offers a flexible, part-time schedule of 5–10 hours per week, with approximately 30% of the work performed remotely for documentation, menu review, and care coordination. On-site work is required for resident assessments and facility collaboration. Compensation is $40.00–$46.00 per hour based on experience, with travel and mileage paid in addition to the hourly rate. Requirements
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities
- Review and approve menus for regular and therapeutic diets to ensure nutritional adequacy and regulatory compliance.
- Identify residents at nutritional risk and complete nutrition assessments as needed.
- Conduct periodic kitchen and food service audits to evaluate safety, sanitation, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with culinary and care teams to enhance meal quality and resident satisfaction.
- Provide evidence-based nutrition recommendations and follow up as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory requirements.
