The clinical quality specialist serves as a member of the quality team coordinating and support quality activities and projects. The role involves coordinating and supporting quality and safety activities and process improvement, developing strategies and improvement plans to achieve board quality goals, and collaborating with leadership and staff to support a robust quality and safety program. The specialist will work with various quality team members, establish positive working relationships, and participate in interdisciplinary teams. A key aspect of the role is identifying opportunities for improvement within the practice environment and working with leadership to foster a culture of quality and patient safety that complies with regulatory requirements. The specialist will also collaborate with the executive team on quality and safety initiatives, assist in policy development, and participate in the implementation of new technologies that enhance quality and patient safety.
