About The Position

The Clinical Programs Coordinator I, under the supervision of the Quality Officer, will provide support to the UF CARES CQI Plan. This position will coordinate requirements and logistics for Patient Centered Model Home-PCMH annual recognition. Coordinate the patient services and administrative activities of clinical data and monitor ongoing clinical activities for NCQA regulations. Develops and coordinate patient services to review NCQA standards. Assists and support the Quality Officer to review and monitor COI strategic plan. Assists providers by monitoring patient care plan, and treatment problems. Works collaboratively with clinical team members of the patient’s treatment team. Maintains all records and reports related to NCQA/PCMH and keeps track of data in an Excel spreadsheet. Coordinates PCMH committee meetings, serves on health-related task forces and advisory committees, including the Clinical Effectiveness Group (CEG). Attending NCQA workshops and webinars 5% Provides administrative services for assistance with any additional needs. Provides health education to patients, staff, and practitioners within area of specialty as it relates to NCQA compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Level II Background required.
  • Hiring is contingent upon eligibility to work in the US.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-year experience with HIV population.
  • Adult/ Pediatric outpatient clinic experience.
  • Experience with National Continuing Quality Assurance (NCQA) PCMH.
  • Experience with Quality Improvement Projects.
