About The Position

The incumbent supports the Office of Clinical Practice and will lead the clinical tasks for Initial Teacher Preparation Programs and manage key organizational structures of OCP to ensure the office flows successfully. This is a temporary position for 1 year with no permanent status granted. Temporary assignments may expire prior to the ending date.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience working successfully with school districts and/or community organizations.
  • Experience serving populations that are demographically and socioeconomically similar to the CSULB student population.
  • Strong multitasking, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in education, one of the social or behavioral science, or a job-related field, and two years of related experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the Office of Clinical Practice (OCP) liaison, coordinating partnerships and placements.
  • Manages clinical placements for all ITPP programs with some designated as shared tasks.
  • Facilitate ongoing support to coordinators throughout the clinical practice and placement process.
  • Ensures accuracy for clinical practice organization, systems, and placement communication.
  • Manages the initiation, coordination, and maintenance of Affiliation Agreements and Memoranda of Understanding (AA/MOU) through DocuSign, PDF workflows, and Contract Services.
  • Leads communication and follow up with partners, updates communication protocols and contract templates, and maintains AA/MOU website content.
  • Administer the CED Affiliation Agreement inbox and collaborates closely with student assistants to support agreement processing and partner relations.
  • Performs additional duties and special projects in support of the Office of Clinical Practice and engages in ongoing professional learning to strengthen office operations, including adoption of new technologies, participation in statewide initiatives, and collaboration through professional networks.
