About The Position

Capital Health is seeking a Clinical Practice Coordinator to support the Clinical Education department. This role is crucial in fostering organizational shared governance, supporting clinical staff recognition, participating in evidence-based practice initiatives, and analyzing quality data to improve patient outcomes. The coordinator will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to drive clinical practice excellence and promote educational initiatives. This is a full-time position with day shifts.

Requirements

Master's of science in nursing degree.
Three years of leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
Registered Nurse - NJ
Strong writing and communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office.
Must be able to manage a large amount of activity and several projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Support organizational shared governance structure, mentoring staff and leaders, and attending meetings to provide guidance.
Support recognition of clinical staff and clinical initiatives, collaborating with leadership on recognition programs and serving as a resource for external recognition/designation programs.
Participate in clinical research and evidence-based practice initiatives, promoting staff participation and dissemination of projects.
Participate in the analysis of quality data metrics and development of programs to improve outcomes, assisting in database maintenance and benchmarking.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to drive clinical practice to achieve optimal outcomes and promote evidence-based practice.
Participate in educational initiatives to promote shared governance, evidence-based practice, and clinical excellence.
Performs other duties as assigned.
