Clinical Physician I
About The Position
The Schizophrenia Research Center seeks an hourly physician to support clinical research protocols involving individuals with schizophrenia and related disorders. The physician will conduct protocol-required medical procedures and assessments, monitor participant safety during research visits, document clinical findings, and collaborate with the Principal Investigator and research team to ensure procedures comply with approved study protocols, institutional policies, and applicable regulatory requirements. Administrative responsibilities include writing progress notes in electronic health records. The position is located at 1051 Riverside Drive, New York, NY 10032.

Responsibilities
- Consent participants.
- Conduct clinical evaluations.
- Administer study medication.
- Place IVs and conduct clinical procedures specified in research protocols.
- Monitor participant safety during research visits.
- Document clinical findings and write progress notes in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with the Principal Investigator and research team to ensure procedures follow approved protocols, institutional policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.
