About The Position

The Pharmacy Supervisor is a licensed pharmacist who, in coordination with the Pharmacy Manager, is responsible for overseeing the daily workflow, staffing, orientation, training, and developing of caregivers. The Pharmacy Supervisor promotes and supports a collaborative team approach in providing care and is responsible for ensuring the safe and appropriate use of medications and department operations that meet all regulatory compliance requirements. Fulfillment of this responsibility is achieved through the provision of pharmaceutical care services whose components include drug information, drug distribution, and clinical pharmacy services with knowledge of age-specific criteria from neonates through geriatrics (where applicable). The Pharmacy Supervisor supports/manages pharmacy technologies and systems within the department in collaboration with informatics and medication safety. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree - a graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy
  • Washington Pharmacist License (Upon hire)
  • 2 years of applicable pharmacy practice

Nice To Haves

  • Doctor of pharmacy (PharmD) from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy
  • 3 years of clinical pharmacy experience in ambulatory care
  • Experience working within a CDTA
  • Board certification in ambulatory care (BCACP or BCPS)
  • PGY1 residency completion
  • Leadership or management experience

Responsibilities
