Reports to Manager, Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacy Services. Responsible for the coordination of ambulatory clinical pharmacy programs including, but not limited to, pharmacoeconomics, pharmacotherapeutics, pharmaceutical care, and drug information services. Responsible for the collaboration of multidisciplinary care teams to monitor, assess, recommend changes to, and optimize medication use in areas of therapeutic specialization. Assists in the development of therapeutic drug policy and supervises implementation of corrective strategies necessary to contain drug costs. Responsible for continuous quality improvement activities of ambulatory clinical pharmacy services. Participates in the development and implementation of Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacy Services policies and procedures and in the development of future goals and objectives for ambulatory clinical pharmacy practice in concert with Brown University Health’s strategic plan.
