About The Position

CVHS is seeking a Clinical Pharmacy Services Representative to serve as a point of contact for both patients and clinic staff to optimize access to the clinical services available at CVHS. The Clinical Pharmacy Services Representative will focus on assisting pharmacists, and other clinic staff, in managing the medication therapy of patients which could include prescription prior authorizations, specialty pharmacy assessments, conducting medication history reviews or scheduling Medicare Annual Wellness visits. Their responsibilities extend to collaborating with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes, making them an essential link between patients and their medication or clinical pharmacy needs. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Great interpersonal skills both in person and over the phone.
  • Capability to use common computer programs including spreadsheets, word processing documents, and electronic medical records.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to schedule and prioritize tasks.
  • Proficient with common office resources (phones, computers, printers, fax machines, and scanners).
  • On-the-job training and experience under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
