About The Position

Texas Health Alliance is a 101-bed, full-service hospital serving the North Fort Worth community since 2012. The hospital offers a range of services including women's and infants' services, emergency medicine, cardiac rehab, a Level III neonatal intensive care unit, wellness services, outpatient surgery, and women's imaging services. Texas Health Alliance is Joint Commission-accredited, a Baby Friendly Facility, and a Pathways to Excellence-designated hospital. The Pharmacy Department operates in a team-based environment, emphasizing lean principles and individual performance within a supportive culture.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree Pharmacy required or Pharm.D. required
Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency
2 years hospital experience or residency preferred
PHAR - Pharmacist upon hire required

Responsibilities

Communicating effectively, building positive professional relationships and role modeling teamwork.
Timely and accurate support of medication distribution including medication order verification and oversight of pharmacy technician responsibilities.
Provision of clinical pharmacy services for the safe and efficient patient care.
Ensuring the accuracy of one's own work as well as maintaining required competencies and other documentation.
Consistent support of the department's QA and PS standards programs and initiatives is also required.
Ongoing professional development and growth.
Management of one's own time and shares the responsibility for minimizing pharmaceutical costs (including wastage) and discovering new process efficiencies.
Respond to medical emergencies per hospital policy as available.
Other duties as assigned.
