About The Position

Responsible for delivering comprehensive pharmacy services, including both clinical and distributive functions, to ensure safe, effective, and cost-efficient medication therapy. Collaborates with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes through medication management, patient education, drug information services, medication monitoring, dosing recommendations, and participation in patient care rounds. Ensures compliance with departmental policies, Board of Pharmacy regulations, and all applicable regulatory standards. Provides oversight and guidance to Pharmacy Technicians within their scope of practice and may support the training and development of new team members, students, and residents through both practical and educational experiences. Exercises independent clinical judgment within the scope of licensure, supported by established policies, procedures, and practice guidelines. May serve in a leadership capacity, including providing operational support and coverage for pharmacy leadership as designated.

Requirements

  • Doctorate of Pharmacy Required (PharmD) unless graduated from U.S. School of Pharmacy in or before 2003 OR Foreign Equivalent.
  • 3 years required OR PGY-1 Residency.
