About The Position
The Clinical Pharmacist I provides high-quality, individualized, cost-effective pharmaceutical care and integrated pharmacy operational services in collaboration with the healthcare team to optimize patients’ medication therapy outcomes and quality of life. The role performs all duties in a manner that promotes teamwork and reflects the Sisters of Providence mission and philosophy. The position is with Providence Little Company of Mary Torrance Hospital, whose culture emphasizes patient-focused, whole-person care, understanding, commitment, mutual respect, and empowering caregivers.
Requirements
- PharmD (Pharmacy Doctorate) or a bachelor's degree in pharmacy.
- California pharmacist registration upon hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire, where applicable.
Nice To Haves
- One year of acute care hospital pharmacy experience or equivalent experience.
- Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency.
