About The Position

The Clinical Pharmacist provides high-quality, individualized, cost-effective pharmaceutical care and integrated pharmacy operational services in collaboration with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes and quality of life. In the emergency department, pharmacists work closely with physicians at the bedside to evaluate patient needs and comorbidities and recommend drug therapy and dosing. Covenant ED is a Level 2 Trauma Center and Certified Stroke Center, providing a fast-paced, high-acuity environment requiring expert clinical pharmacist support. This is a full-time position with day and night shifts.

Requirements

• PharmD in Pharmacy or a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy.
• Texas Pharmacist registration upon hire.

Nice To Haves

• Acute care hospital pharmacy experience, with 1 year or equivalent experience.
• Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency.
