About The Position
The Clinical Perfusionist operates the heart-lung machine during cardiac surgery and other surgeries requiring cardiopulmonary bypass. The primary responsibility is to support the cardiac surgical patient's physiological and metabolic needs. The position reports to the Director/Perfusion and has no supervisory responsibilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Biology or Perfusion from an accredited perfusion program.
- Two years of experience as a certified clinical perfusionist.
Nice To Haves
- Three or more years of experience.
- Certification through the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion.
