Clinical Oncology Specialist, GU

Natera•Philadelphia, PA

About The Position

Natera is seeking an experienced Clinical Oncology Specialist to join its Genitourinary (GU) Oncology sales team. This tumor-specific field role focuses on driving adoption and growth of Signatera™, Natera’s personalized, tumor-informed molecular residual disease (MRD) test. Signatera is a circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) assay designed to detect MRD and monitor disease recurrence. In GU cancers—including bladder, renal cell carcinoma, and testicular cancers—it provides molecular insights that can help clinicians assess recurrence risk, monitor disease status, and inform individualized patient management. The specialist will serve as a strategic field partner and representative of Natera Oncology, developing relationships with healthcare providers and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) across academic medical centers, integrated delivery networks, hospital systems, leading urology practices, and selected community oncology practices. The primary focus is Urologic Oncology, with call points including Urologic Oncologists, GU Surgical Oncologists, Radiation Oncologists, Medical Oncologists, Pathologists, and other providers involved in GU cancer care. The role develops territory business plans, grows accounts and market adoption, educates providers on Signatera’s clinical applications and evidence, and collaborates with internal sales, Medical Affairs, and other cross-functional teams. It also supports institutional care pathways, account workflows, and EMR integrations, while navigating healthcare systems, reimbursement processes, and institutional requirements. The territory includes Keystone, including Philadelphia and New Jersey, and the role requires 50–75% travel, including overnight travel as needed. Natera describes itself as a global leader in cell-free DNA (cfDNA) testing, with work in oncology, women’s health, and organ health. Its aim is to make personalized genetic testing and diagnostics part of the standard of care to enable earlier, more targeted interventions.
