About The Position

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Clinical Office Assistant for our Radiology department located within the Ft Thomas Hospital. This position serves as a multi-functional front office role responsible for customer service, patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and administrative support within a healthcare setting. The associate provides exceptional service to patients, visitors, providers, and staff through in-person, phone, and email communication while managing registration, insurance collection, authorizations, pre-certifications, and payment processing. Responsibilities include coordinating patient information, answering and routing calls, assisting with scheduling and clerical tasks, maintaining medical records through scanning and EMR documentation, and supporting daily office operations. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to resolving patient concerns while ensuring accurate documentation, regulatory compliance, and overall quality patient care.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or GED
  • Medical terminology
  • Computer fluency/literacy
  • Communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Organization and prioritization skills
  • 1 year of experience in an office front desk type role, healthcare registration, scheduling or other patient-facing healthcare positions.
