This is a PRN position with varying hours based on clinical need. The Clinical Office Assistant greets patients and visitors, collects co-payments, and responds to routine inquiries. They are responsible for scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and coordinating administrative aspects of meetings and travel. The role involves answering and screening telephone calls, triaging clinical calls, and resolving issues. Additionally, the assistant assembles, copies, and releases medical records, works with the Medical Records Department, and generates basic reports. Responsibilities also include managing mail, operating office equipment, processing referrals and re-authorizations, and completing patient registration. Some billing/reimbursement form processing may be required, along with maintaining logs and reports, and assisting with data compilation for reports and meetings.
