Clinical Nursing Instructor - Practical Nursing Program
About The Position
Stepful is seeking an experienced registered nurse and nursing educator to teach in its Board of Nursing–approved Practical Nursing program. The instructor will teach virtual didactic courses and supervise practical nursing students during in-person clinical rotations at a partner healthcare facility in the Toledo, Ohio area. The role supports working adults pursuing nursing careers and licensure. Clinical sessions are scheduled on Fridays, Saturdays, and/or Sundays, with hours aligned to program rotation schedules and varying based on the number of courses taught. Travel, lodging, and per diem support may be provided for instructors located outside the Toledo area.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as faculty in an RN or LPN education program.
- At least 2 years of professional experience as a Registered Nurse, with at least 5 years of varied experience across clinical practice, nursing education, and/or administration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Active, unencumbered Ohio RN license.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, students, and external partners.

Responsibilities

- Serve as a subject matter expert in practical nursing education.
