The organization has been in operation since 1881 and now serves communities in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Florida. Concordia Community Support Services is looking for a dedicated Clinical Nursing Instructor Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team. The Clinical Nursing Instructor plays a vital role in supporting clinical education and workforce development by creating realistic healthcare simulation experiences that enhance clinical competence, confidence, and patient safety. The role involves independently using nursing knowledge and RN licensure to plan and deliver simulation-based education for healthcare professionals across various settings. This includes facilitating high-fidelity simulations, skills labs, and debriefing sessions based on best practices, and evaluating learner performance through observation and feedback to promote growth. The instructor will also prepare and operate simulators and equipment, manage simulation software for realistic scenarios, and coordinate resources for educational programs. Additionally, they will develop setup guides, documentation, and track educational outcomes for continuous improvement, assist with participant recruitment, travel to facilitate training events, adapt content for diverse learners, and develop curriculum and assessments aligned with organizational goals and standards. Participation in quality improvement initiatives and support for research in simulation-based education are also key aspects of the role.
Requirements
- Current valid Pennsylvania RN license: BSN recommended.
- Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in direct patient care.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and insurance required.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment and software.
- Knowledge of healthcare simulation technologies and clinical training equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with healthcare simulation, educational technology, audiovisual systems, healthcare equipment, or technical support preferred.
