Clinical Nurse - Mental Health Unit - Full time - Days
About The Position
The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care using the standards of care and standards of professional performance outlined by the American Nurses Association and the Ohio Board of Nursing. The RN works with an interdisciplinary team to promote the optimal health potential of patients and families, delivering proficient nursing care based on a detailed assessment of patient and family needs and the hospital mission. The RN promotes a patient- and family-experience-oriented environment and acts as a change agent to meet changing census and the needs of internal and external customers. This position serves the Mental Health Unit at the Mathile Center for Mental Health and Wellness.
Requirements
- Associate degree in nursing.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Ohio Registered Nursing license.
- CPR certification is required.
- Dedication to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing within five years of hire.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care in accordance with American Nurses Association and Ohio Board of Nursing standards.
- Work with an interdisciplinary team to promote patients’ and families’ optimal health potential.
- Assess patient and family needs and deliver proficient nursing care.
