Clinical Nurse - Mental Health Unit - Pool - Days
About The Position
The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care in accordance with standards of care and professional performance outlined by the American Nurses Association and the Ohio Board of Nursing. The RN works with an interdisciplinary team to promote the optimal health potential of patients and families. Care is based on detailed assessment of patient and family needs and the hospital mission. The RN promotes a patient- and family-oriented experience and acts as a change agent to respond to changing census and the needs of internal and external customers. This role serves the Mental Health Unit at the Mathile Center for Mental Health and Wellness. It is a PRN, as-needed position requiring at least 36 hours of work in six weeks, on the day shift.
Requirements
- Associate degree in nursing and graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Dedication to acquire a Bachelor of Science in Nursing within five years of hire.
- Registered Nursing license in the State of Ohio.
- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
- Work at least 36 hours in six weeks.
- Day shift availability.
