About The Position

The Clinical Nurse is a registered nurse who partners with and advocates for patients, families, and significant others, providing physical, emotional, and spiritual support to positively impact patient outcomes in a safe environment. The RN demonstrates professionalism and promotes excellence and autonomy in nursing practice. Using the nursing process and evidence-based principles, the RN cares for a diverse caseload of patients within the department’s scope of service. The RN serves as a guide, healer, collaborator, teacher, leader, and sentry, and collaborates with and guides care delivered by the inter-professional team. The RN is accountable for compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, the Nursing Code of Ethics, and applicable regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid Ohio RN license.
• Current CPR certification required at the time of hire.
• Ability to multitask with constant interruptions while maintaining a pleasant demeanor.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred.
• Previous hospital experience preferred.
