AZ Med/Surg Flexible Night Shift
About The Position
The Clinical Nurse performs a variety of nursing care procedures requiring professional knowledge and supports individuals of all ages and their families. The nurse must be able to work independently while following physician orders, standards of care, and nursing policies and procedures. The position is located in Tuba City, Arizona, at a health center serving a wide area and acting as a referral center for local reservations. The facility has 73 beds and offers comprehensive emergency services, dental and ophthalmology services, orthopedics, OB/GYN, and outpatient surgical procedures. The shift is nights, 18:30–7:00, with three 12-hour shifts. Holiday coverage is mandatory. Limited shared housing may be available for $600 per month, subject to availability; family members and pets are not permitted in the housing.
Requirements
- Hold a valid, current, full, and unrestricted nursing license to practice in any U.S. state.
- Have at least 2 years of experience in an acute or sub-acute facility.
- Have at least 3 years of experience in a nursing role.
- Hold Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Hold Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Complete Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) within six months of hire.
- Hold National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
