Clinical Nurse - Mental Health Unit - Full time - Days
About The Position
The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care in accordance with the standards of care and professional performance outlined by the American Nurses Association and the Ohio Board of Nursing. Working with an interdisciplinary team, the RN promotes the optimal health potential of patients and families and delivers proficient nursing care based on a detailed assessment of their needs and the hospital mission. The RN promotes a patient- and family-oriented experience and acts as a change agent to meet changing census and the needs of internal and external customers. This role serves the Mental Health Unit at the Mathile Center for Mental Health and Wellness.
Requirements
- Associate degree in nursing.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Dedication to acquire a Bachelor of Science in Nursing within five years of hire.
- Registered Nursing license in the State of Ohio.
- CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care according to American Nurses Association and Ohio Board of Nursing standards.
- Interact with an interdisciplinary team to promote the optimal health potential of patients and families.
- Assess patient and family needs and deliver proficient nursing care consistent with those needs and the hospital mission.
- Promote a patient- and family-oriented experience.
- Act as a change agent in response to changing census and customer needs.
- Work weekend and holiday rotations.
