About The Position

This role is responsible for leading fully remote onboarding and ongoing training for clinical staff. The Clinical Nurse Trainer will design and deliver structured training programs aligned with clinical workflows and best practices, and revise/develop training materials, including just-in-time training for process changes and client updates. Key responsibilities include developing, tracking, and refining metrics to measure training effectiveness, facilitating live virtual sessions, providing targeted retraining, translating clinical workflows into training materials, conducting competency assessments, and serving as a clinical educator and mentor. The role also involves partnering with the QA team to monitor performance trends and identify training needs, revising training based on client-directed changes, and participating in virtual debrief meetings. The position promotes a continuous learning environment through feedback and coaching.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to train, coach, and develop clinical staff.
  • Expertise in adult learning principles and virtual training delivery.
  • Ability to translate complex clinical workflows into clear training content.
  • Strong collaboration skills, particularly with QA and operational teams.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills in remote environments.
  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to measure and improve training outcomes.
  • Self-directed, organized, and adaptable.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
  • Licensure in the State of New York (will be required, but not at time of application).
  • 3 – 5 years of clinical experience.
  • Experience in ambulatory care, specialty clinic, emergency, or critical care.
  • Current EPIC experience (inpatient or outpatient); or working EMR knowledge other than EPIC.

Responsibilities
