Clinical Nurse Specialist - Vascular Surgery/Medical PCU - Vascular Center - CNS
About The Position
This Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) role supports Vascular Surgery, the Medical Progressive Care Unit (PCU) (MB8BG), and the Vascular Center within the Siebens Building. The Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) works collaboratively to improve the quality of patient care and promote desired patient outcomes within a designated specialty population. As an advanced practice nursing leader, the CNS functions across the three spheres of influence—Patient/Client, Nurses and Nursing Practice, and Organization/System—and partners with interdisciplinary teams to advance evidence-based practice and support nursing excellence. This role is an active participant on the nursing leadership team and contributes to shaping clinical practice, care delivery, and patient outcomes across vascular services. This role is eligible for TN sponsorship. Successful sponsorship will require state licensure and completion of the VisaScreen or equivalent certification.
