The Clinical Nurse Outpatient Radiation Oncology Breast Clinic plays a vital role in delivering comprehensive patient care within the Radiation Oncology Breast Clinic, ensuring high-quality, coordinated, and compassionate services across the care continuum. The Clinical Nurse Outpatient Radiation Oncology Breast Clinic collaborates with physicians, clinical teams, patients, and families to deliver excellent care and optimize clinical effectiveness. The ideal candidate is an experienced outpatient nurse with oncology or radiation oncology background, Epic proficiency, and skill in IV and PAC access. A nursing degree, Texas RN license, and required life support certifications, along with strong clinical judgment and patient-centered practice, will support success in this role. Based on the annual salary range of $68,000.00–$105,000.00–$142,000.00, the hourly breakdown (40-hour work week) is: Minimum $32.69 – Midpoint $50.48 – Maximum $68.27. The typical work schedule is primarily Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, with some early evening shifts (up to 7:00pm), weekend shifts, and some holidays required. Why Us? Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure Current State of Texas Professional Nursing license.
• BLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire or Required: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Upon Hire
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support If working in the following department: ASC Post Anesthesia (600761). Upon Hire
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support If working in the following departments: ASC Post Anesthesia (600761) or Pedi - Child & Adolescent Center (113200). Upon Hire
• All clinical nurses with less than one year of registered nurse (RN) work experience will be required to participate in the Clinical Nurse Residency Program.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs using clinical, visual, aural, and analytical skills
• Provide direct patient care and coordinate services across the continuum of care
• Administer medications, perform procedures, and manage clinical emergencies
• Deliver age-specific and oncology-focused care aligned with institutional standards
• Support discharge planning and patient education to promote continuity of care
• Partner with physicians, multidisciplinary services, patients, and families to plan and evaluate care outcomes
• Act as an advocate to uphold patient rights
• Support coordination of care among team members and services
• Demonstrate competency in technologies, procedures, and clinical interventions
• Integrate research results and evidence-based practice into patient care
• Participate in data collection for active research studies
• Organize and prioritize work for the patient care team to ensure efficient use of resources
• Train, coach, and assist team members to uphold clinical standards and enhance performance
• Ensure safe care delivery aligned with professional practice standards
• Support quality improvement initiatives within the clinic
